Stepbrothers Bar and Grill is both proud and humbled to have served and continue to serve the community of Metairie and the greater New Orleans area for over 27 years. We, the Stepbrothers family--from cooks to bartenders to management and everyone in between--remain firm in our commitment to all our patrons to deliver the most consistent, courteous, and prompt service found anywhere in this community. We feel this thorough commitment to excellence has been the driving factor, making Stepbrothers one of the most successful neighborhood bars in Metairie.
Although we view our courtesy towards patrons as one of our highest goals, it is certainly not the only reason for our long-lasting success. Being a premier sports bar in Metairie, Stepbrothers boasts seventeen flat screen televisions, where anyone can see almost every sporting event covered, including every Saints’, LSU, and Hornets’ game on multiple screens. In addition to this, we also carry the NFL Sunday Ticket and ESPN Gameplan, allowing fan access to every football game played, not simply the hometown game. That’s not to say we won’t be cheering for the Tigers with all our heart. If you aren’t in Tiger Stadium, Step’s is the place to be. Our sports are taken seriously at Stepbrothers. We get it.
No great sports bar, however, can be truly great without a wide assortment of both food and beverages; and in this aspect, we do not fall short. Our experienced bartenders can and will make any drink to your liking, quickly and efficiently. Even our large numbered crowds on Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday night do not hinder us in this regard. And our kitchen, which is open until we close, serves a wide variety of quality meals and appetizers, everything from filets with Cajun potatoes and vegetables to simple cheese sticks.
Good food and good drink are part of the experience at Stepbrothers. And we are pleased to give you both.
For the majority of the week, we are the ultimate sports and neighborhood bar. On the weekends, however, we tend to knock the situation up a notch with Club Steps. Over the past few years, Club Steps, going all night Friday and Saturday with music from the seventies to today has reigned supreme over the Metairie nightlife. Whether it’s DJAJ or Sherlock spinning, people are dancing, and generally not stopping.
Of course, all of the things mentioned above are attributes that can be attached to many bars and restaurants. But we feel we are different. From the Topcats on Wednesday, to the St. Patricks’s Day celebrations, to the luau in the summer, to our monthly theme parties, our traditions know no bounds. We feel our tightly knit staff, our colorful and loyal regulars, and even our wide variety of newcomers create a cohesive, and sometimes downright wild, atmosphere seldom encountered at average neighborhood bars.
We, the family of Stepbrothers, recognize that we have a good thing and will continue to bring this to you, the patron, for many years to come.
